Due to the custom and artistic nature of the products offered, Book Binding by Bultúr reserves the right to reject any design request by anyone at any time and/or any potential projects that involve subject matter that we do not approve of. Books sent to us and not paid for will be discarded after one year. We are not responsible if the customer makes a mistake on ordering. Also leather colors may be different when viewed at different angles and in different light, so we are not responsible if they do not match exactly to what you expected. Leather also varies slightly between dye lots. In gold foil stamping there may also be over stamping when letters are very small and grain of leather is very deep. If this is an issue with you, it would be best to contact us ahead and we can offer other alternatives, such as smoother leathers or alternative label options.

Warranty

Products are made to appear as if made by practicing book binders from the medieval era, with this comes a makers tell, some would call these “defects” in today’s time. However any makers tell is covered under the normal condition warranty.

Normal Condition- abnormalities on these handmade products are normal and should not change the functionality of the products.

Abnormal Condition- abnormalities on handmade product greatly hinders, stops or damages the normal function of the product.

Products normal function- products are intended to be used as writing, drawing or reading materials. Being used in any manner not linked to the listed intentions will void the given warranty.

Given warranty- products handcrafted sold and otherwise ordered from Book Binding by Bultúr, if being used under normal conditions; are guaranteed for life!

Book Binding by Bultúr reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Book Binding by Bultúr shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Customers who wish to return and have a refund may do so by requesting one within one (1) week from date of delivery. As stated in warranty policy, the items sold on this site and custom order book & re-binds are sold and delivered “as is”. Book Binding by Bultúr will only accept return for refunds if:

-product fails due to fabrication error.

-Item not as described. (Vague description given for customs aren’t the fault of Book Binding by Bultúr.)

-Item is greatly warped upon delivery.
